Aaron Shelton died at 3:55 pm on Friday December 30th in IU Health Arnett Hospital. He was 46.

Aaron farmed with his father for 27 years and was formerly employed by Dekalb for 17 years. He graduated from North Montgomery High School in 1983 and from Purdue University Agricultural Short Course in 1984.
Aaron attended Woodland Heights Christian Church.

Aaron was born in Lebanon, IN to David and Jeanette Shelton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Oral and Ethel Louise Shelton and Tom and Lena McClelland.

He was married on December 31, 2009 to Melissa Mennen-Shelton. She survives. Other survivors include children Tyler Shelton, Erica Shelton, Brayton Claycomb and Aubyrn Bridwell. He is also survived by his sister Belinda (John) Gamble (Indianapolis) and brother Raymond Andrew (Jennifer) Shelton (Franklin, WI).


Funeral services are scheduled for 10am on Wednesday Jan. 4th at Woodland Heights Christian Church with Tony Thomas and Steve Wilke officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Darlington. Friends may call 4pm-8pm Tuesday Jan. 3rd at Woodland Heights Christian Church.
