Albert D. Impicciche, 85 of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at his home with his family.
He was retired from RR Donnelly's as a Journeyman Bookbinder. Albert was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, he enjoyed golf and bowling, He also loved baseball and was a Cubs fan all of his life. He got to witness the miracle of the Cubs winning the World Series. Albert had an opportunity to try out for Minor league baseball with the Indianapolis Indians.
Born October 14, 1931 in Chicago to Joseph & Theresa Bianco Impicciche. He married Juanita F. Lay, she survives. Also surviving are his sons Joseph (Tammy) and Frank (Susie), daughter in law Ann, grandchildren Andrea, Christopher, Kelsey, Maria, Michael and Clare. He was preceded in death by his son Alan and grandchildren Dominic and Peter.
A funeral Mass will be held 11:00am Saturday November 19 at ST. Bernard's Catholic Church with Rev. Chris Shocklee officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 Saturday at the church.
