Aletabeth Shultz, 93, formerly of Crawfordsville, died at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 at Wesley Manor in Frankfort, Ind. She was a retired band and music teacher and a member of Clarks Hill Christian Church, Ladies Aid and Montgomery County Retired Teachers Association.
Born on Sept. 15, 1916, to parents J. Willard and Zertha Stingley Thompson, she married Lyle Shultz on June 26, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1980.
Survivors include one son, Richard Shultz of Shawnee, Kansas, and daughter-in-law Mary Shultz of West Lafayette, Ind.
Also surviving are grandchildren Ryan and Erick Shultz, Jordan Taylor-Wagler, Derick Shultz and Heather Shultz.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Shultz.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Clayton Kendall and Mary Hollis will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Newtown Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
