Allen R. Carey, 52 of Crawfordsville passed away Friday at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville.   He was born November 25, 1965 at Ft. Ord, California to Cecil and Irene Brown Carey.

Allen worked for many years at the Super 8 Motel.  He loved antiquing and cooking.

He was married to Martha Crouch, they later divorced.  He is survived by his daughter Ashley (Charles) Prange; Brothers David (Janey) Carey, Bob Carey, Bill (Sally) Carey and sister Brenda (Bob) Hart. He also has grandchildren Trevor, Olivia, Rebecca and Lois as well as several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen with a memorial service to be held at a later date.  Hunt & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family.
