Amanda Douglas, 55, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
She was born on February 10, 1970, in Crawfordsville, to Clifton and Sophia Carr. Amanda was a proud graduate of Southmont High School and continued her education at Ivy Tech College.
Amanda was a dedicated businesswoman and partner alongside her husband, Todd, in CP Products and Central Indiana Rubber. She made history as the first Samoan minority business owner in the state of Indiana, a role she carried with pride and determination. She was a member of the Crawfordsville Country Club and gave generously of her time, serving in Montgomery County Volunteer for Mental Health, and serving actively with the PTO at Walnut Elementary School. Amanda and Todd attended Mace Community Church.
On September 23, 1995, Amanda married the love of her life, Todd Douglas, who survives. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her daughter, Reva. She is also survived by her sisters, Connie Carr, Phyllis Van, and Lucy Carr; nieces Ashton Cook and Risha Carr; nephews Christopher Cook, Ryan Stevenson, and Jared Stevenson; as well as many beloved Samoan nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Tammy Mussche officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Volunteers for Mental Health in Montgomery County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
