Obituary
Angus C. Smith, 75, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday morning at his residence.
He was born February 22, 1937 to Clyde & Golda (Shaffer) Smith. He was a graduate of Waveland High School and attended Indiana State University. He had served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the technical department at R. R. Donnelly's. His memberships included East Side Baptist Church and the Back Porch Pickers. He loved music and painting.
He married Virginia "Ginny" Baldwin and she survives. Also surviving are daughters, Kim Callecod of Louisiana and Krissi Harpel of Waynetown, brother, Everett Smith of Bloomingdale, IN and five grandchildren, Ellen, Ian, Nolan, Cameron and Rhiannon.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday at East Side Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Whicker officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to East Side Baptist Church.
