Arthur R. Ash, New Albany, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday, November 10 ^th at Autumn Woods in New Albany.

He was born August 22, 1935, in Wheatland, IN to William and Lillian (Hicks) Ash.  He served in the United States Air Force and had been a banker for Tri-County Banks.

His memberships included the American Legion Post #72, Moose Lodge, V.F.W., Color Guard, and Whitesville Christian Church.

He is survived by his children, Mendy Roberts (James) of Whitestown and Greg (Terri) Ash of Sellersburg.  Also surviving are five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by siblings; Cletus, Paul, Emogene, and Rosalie.

Funeral services are scheduled for noon Tuesday, November 15 ^th at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with military rites by the American Legion and the United States Air Force. Pastor Andy Schindler will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue.  Friends may call 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
