Obituary
Barbara J. Crady, 74, of Crawfordsville and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Thursday at Hickory Creek of Crawfordsville.
Mrs. Crady was born May 17, 1933 in Beech Grove to Randal P. and Naomi (Rude) Barnes.
She was a graduate of Shortridge High School.
She married Virgil Crady. He passed away May 24, 2007.
She was retired from RCA as an executive secretary.
Memberships included Sweet Adelines Women's Barbershop Chorus and the Executive Secretaries Club.
Survivors include brothers, Thomas (Linda) Barnes of Indianapolis and James L. (Elizabeth) Barnes of Marysville, Ohio; sisters, Wanda (Ralph) Thomas of Greenfield and Patricia Stroud of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Marjorie Barnes of Muncie and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul D. Stroud and a brother-in-law, Robert L. Barnes.
Funeral services are scheduled for noon Monday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Goff officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Park East in Indianapolis with graveside services at 3 p.m. Friends and family may call 11 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choosing.
