Barbara R. Mitton-Barth, 78, of
Crawfordsville, died at 3:45 p.m.
Sunday at Hickory Creek Nursing
Home.
She had been
a cashier at Standard
Grocery and
JC Penney, and a
secretary at Mills
School and Even
Start.
Her memberships
included Mt.
Zion United Methodist Church and
Order of Eastern Star.
She was born May 23, 1934, at
Nashville, Ill., to Eugene Allen and
Della Marie Williams Schleuter.
She married Larry Mitton in August
1956. He died Oct. 7, 1994. She
then married William David Barth
Jan. 22, 1999. He survives.
Other survivors include:
sons, Steve (Sandy) Mitton of
Menomonee Falls, Wisc., David
(Robin) Mitton of Crawfordsville
and Daniel Mitton of Indianapolis;
brother William Schleuter of Oakwood,
Ill.; six grandchildren, Ryan
(Victoria), Rachel, Madeline, Rowan,
Eli and Jackson; and greatgrandchild
Lilian Pearl.

A memorial service will be at
11:30 a.m. Friday at Mt. Zion United
Methodist with Pastor Warren
Stewart officiating. Friends may
call one hour prior to the service.
