In loving memory of Bertha, wife, mother, grandmother. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Born March 3, 1938 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. She was the daughter of Harold and Kathryn Hutson. Sister of Ann Chilton, married to John. Jane Brown, married to Alan. And Kay O'Dell. Bertha was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School.

Bertha married James Lewis Hastings on November 23, 1960 in Crawfordsville. They have three children, Bradley Hastings of Crawfordsville, Eleanor Hastings Warnecke, married to Paul, of California; and Susan Hastings Fox, married to David, of Crawfordsville.  Bertha's grandchildren are Jacob and Emily son and daughter of Susan and David Fox.

Bertha loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing and making art with her grandchildren, who were her greatest blessing. She will be greatly missed by all.

A private service will be held at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery South.
