Betty J. Hoover, 90 of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Hospital, Crawfordsville.

She worked for Wabash College at the Scarlett Inn for 25 years and later worked for Experience Works.
Betty was born September 27, 1924 in Terre Haute to Ora C. & Emily V Irwin Pemberton. She married Lawrence Hoover in June 1942 he preceded her in death March 14, 1993.
She is survived by her children, Lorna (Richard) Dolph of Plano, TX; Ora Frank (Gloria) Hoover of Pomona, KS; Larry James (Cindy) Hoover of Killeen, TX, and Emily (Charles Sr.) Craven of Crawfordsville. Betty is also survived by her brother Ora (Valeria) Pemberton of Columbus, IN, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren as well as several Nieces and nephews and her special friend Lloyd Cope. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers.


Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday at Fremont Street Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Aldrich officiating. Interment will be in the Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. Visitation will be from 2-6 Sunday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
