Betty L. Jacobs, 92 of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville.

Betty was born April 8, 1925 in Camden, IN to Samuel and Elda Wagoner Hazelgrove. She worked in sales at JCPenney for many years before retiring.  Betty was a member of Christ's United Methodist Church, Near and Far Home Ec Club, Crawfordsville Senior Club; she loved quilting and her great grandchildren's activities.

On January 11, 1944 Betty married Herbert "Dick" Jacobs; he preceded her in death on December 12, 1993.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Martin, brother Tom (Jewel) Hazelgrove, Sister in law Camilla Hazelgrove,  Grandchildren Kim Dagley and Don (Tracy) Martin as well as Great grandchildren Audrey (Fiancé Andrew Workman) Sieferman, Brinton Sieferman, Erin Martin, Caleb martin and Collin Martin as well as a great granddaughter Anna Belle Workman.

She was preceded in death by a son Donald Jacobs, Brother Charles Hazelgrove and sister Wilma Knowles.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Judi Early officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave. Visitation will be 4-8 Monday at the funeral home.
