Betty J. Vaughn, 86,
Crawfordsville, died 5:15
p.m. Tuesday at Ben
Hur Nursing Home.
Mrs. Vaughn was
educated at Breaks
School.
She was born Jan.
11, 1923, in Lafayette,
to Carl and Edith Hammel.
She married Everett "John" Vaughn
Dec. 31, 1957. He survives.
Also surviving are grandchildren Brenda
Betram, Brownsburg, Becky Porter, Danville,
Donald Barnes, Springfield, Ill., and John
Barnes, Crawfordsville; nephew Eddie Hoffa,
Crawfordsville; 12 grandchildren; and
four great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by daughter
Petty Grimes.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2
p.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Oak Hill South. Friends
may call one hour prior to services.
