Obituary
Billie Arthur Berlin, 76, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Berlin was born Nov. 15, 1931 in Veedersburg. He was the son of Vernon and Irene Robbins Berlin.
He attended Veedersburg schools. He married Shirlie Duncan May 21, 1955. She preceded him in death Jan. 11, 2005. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Raybestos. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, VFW 1431 and Ben Hur Car Club.
He is survived by daughter, Jerri (Jim) Fitzwater of Crawfordsville; Jack (Betty) Berlin of Veedersburg; sisters, Nora Jones of Crawfordsville and Donna (John) Mayotte of Crawfordsville; companion, Diana Hubble of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren, Kendra (Chris) McCarthy-Snodgrass and Kelly McCarthy; and one great-grandchildren, Nivek Witt.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Uhl will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North with military rites by American Legion/VFW.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
