Obituary
Billy Joe Cummings, 78, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday at his residence.
He was born May 25, 1934 at Crawfordsville to Clayton and Velma (Myers) Cummings. He was a 1952 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the National Guard. He was a barber and owned Century Barber Shop for many years.
He married Marilee Utterback. She preceded him in death on February 1, 2009. In addition, a son, Joe Cummings preceded him in death in May of 1985. Survivors include daughter, Jennifer (Bob) Parsons of Crawfordsville, grandchildren Hayden and Alex, brother, Ron (Monie) Cummings of Crawfordsville as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Darlington Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 11am-1pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
