Bonnie Chamberlain passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at Forest Creek Nursing Home at the age of 90. She lived a wonderful life and was very active in the community. She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Ed and Florence Maas.
She married Robert Campbell on Dec. 31, 1958, who passed away June 9, 1975. She married Clare Chamberlain on June 13, 1981, who preceded her in death Jan. 21, 2003. She retired from Linden State Bank in 2008. Surviving are daughter Cathy Campbell Waldon; sons, James and Steve Campbell; step-children, Beverly Campbell Wyatt, Bob Campbell, Sharon Chamberlain Williams, Debbie Chamberlain Hawkins, Roger Chamberlain and David Chamberlain; and 18 grandchildren. Her memberships included Business and Professional Women, Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi, as well as, the American Legion Auxiliary where she was chairman and chief facilitator for Girls State. She also chaired the Nursing Scholarship Program for 40 & 8.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 110 S. Blair St., Crawfordsville, IN.
