Obituary
Brenda Elaine Barbee, 68 of Lafayette passed away Monday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born January 19, 1948 in Crawfordsville to Clarence J. & Elsie L. Chandler Fields Jr.
Brenda worked at Eli Lilly for 15 years and was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, John L. (Tammy) Barbee Jr., Shannon D. Hunter & Crystal (Roger) Beck; Sisters Patricia L. Fields, Jaccie E. Fields and Fawn Bard. She also has a brother Clinton Jay Fields.
Brenda has 7 grandchildren, Patrick Lee Jr., Destiney F. Barbee, Nia S. Barbee, Jasmine Barbee, Jestine Beck, Elizabeth Cast and Candy Long as well as Great grandchild ShiLo Collier.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Revs. Clarence Lee, Steven Lee and Joseph Lee officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 Saturday.
