Brent Michael Jones, 53, of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Born September 06, 1967 in Crawfordsville to the late Oren V. and Lenora Catherine Jones.

August 11, 1990, Brent married Mary Beth Wiatt. She survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Grace (Searing) and Claire; grandchildren, Isla, Elenor, Ava, Kasen, Maverick, and Aisley; brother Glenn; sisters, Brenda (Runyon) and Carolyn; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Brent was a 1986 alumnus of Crawfordsville High School. He was an employee of Banjo Liquid Handling Products Corporation.

Brent was an avid Alabama football fan and loved cheering on the Crimson Tide. Each spring found Brent combing the woods of Putnam and Montgomery Counties on the hunt for wild mushrooms. While an able angler of all species, he enjoyed the restful and reflective nature of channel catfishing. Brent enjoyed gardening as a hobby and shared the benefits with neighbors and friends. Swimming was among his favorite activities, especially on Anna Maria Island, Florida. His greatest passion was spending time with family and playing with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, 107 N Grant Ave, Crawfordsville, with a service starting at 1:00 p.m., led by Pastor Rod Curran. Burial to follow in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.
