Carla D. Truax, 38, of New
Richmond died at 3:21 a.m.Sunday
at Clarian Arnett Hospital,
Lafayette.
She graduated from North
Montgomery High School in
1989 before earning a degree
from Vincennes University.
She was retired from Staples.
She was born Aug. 6, 1971
in Crawfordsville to Stanley
and Rosemary Snyder Hatke.
She married Gary Truax on
Aug. 27, 1996 in Honolulu,
Hawaii. He survives.
She is also survived by her
parents; brothers, Ron (Teresa)
Hatke of Waynetown and
Michael (Rita)
Hatke of Lebanon; sisters,
Madonna (Jim) Bailey of Florida,
Roseann (Dave) Ryle of
Texas, Diana Simpson of
Lafayette, Sharon Harlan of
Indianapolis
and Barb (Dennis)
Carroll of
Lebanon.
She was
preceded in
death by
her brother,
Steve Hatke.

A memorial service is
scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at
Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
Rev. Jim Rivers will officiate.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home
and will continue until the
service begins.
