Obituary
Carolyn L. Simmons, 81, Crawfordsville, died Friday evening at
Home Hospital, Lafayette.
Simmons had worked more than 20 years at Union Federal Savings
& Loan, retiring as comptroller in 1992.
She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary. She graduated
from Crawfordsville High School in 1946.
She was born April 22, 1928, in Crawfordsville, to Oliver McLeod and
Etelka (Cox) McLeod. She married Raymond Simmons. He precedes
her in death.
Survivors include daughters Pamela (Bob) Hain and Jane (Wade)
Pederson; brother Richard (Evelyn) McLeod; many nieces and
nephews; and one grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hunt &
Son Funeral home with Rev. Alan Goff officiating.Burial will be at Oak
Hill Cemetery South. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home.
