IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carrie
Saunders
January 1, 1973 – November 2, 2023
Carrie Linn (Boswell) Saunders, 50, of Crawfordsville, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 2, 2023. She spent her final days surrounded by family and friends after a twelve-week battle with cancer.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Brian Saunders; children, Cali (Joe) House, Cameron (Riley) Saunders, and Christen Saunders. She is also survived by her parents, Joe and Phyllis (Powell) Boswell; brother TJ (Nicole) Boswell; niece Pheobe Boswell; mother-in-law Marlene Saunders; and brother-in-law Kyle Saunders.
Carrie was born and raised in Crawfordsville. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1991, then received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 1995. Carrie then returned to Crawfordsville and eventually began working as the administrative assistant in the high school's front office. She made the school a warm, welcoming place for all staff, students, and visitors.
Carrie absolutely loved spending time with her family. She loved going on walks, playing Pickleball, watching local sporting events, and worshiping God. She also loved her Rock Point Church family and was involved in a number of ministries there. More than anything else, Carrie deeply treasured God and His Word. She was a woman of steadfast faith, a warrior in prayer, and an exhibitor of Christ-like love to everyone she met.
Her family invites you to a visitation on Friday, November 10 from 3-7pm at Rock Point Church. A celebration of Carrie's life will be held on Saturday, November 11 at the Crawfordsville High School auditorium at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, they kindly ask that you make donations to Rock Point Church.
The service will be live-streamed via the Rock Point Church Youtube channel-
