Charles A. Barton, 69 of Brazil, formerly of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday at home.

He was born in Cincinnati, OH to Charlie Barton and Wilma Cornett Roach.  He was retired as a fork truck operator.

Charlie is survived by his fiancé, Margaret Grigsby; Sons Charlie (Tonya) Barton, Robert (Cindy) Barton, Jeff Hole, William (Sally) Barton, and Brandon Barton. Brothers Mike Roach and Tim (Rhonda) Roach as well as sister Pam (Stan) Hood.  He has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Andrew Christopher Barton.

A private family funeral will be held at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with interment to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery North.
