Obituary
Charles E. Nichols, 95, of Crawfordsville passed away at home on Saturday.
Mr. Nichols was born March 26, 1911 in Montgomery County to Perry & Mary Hostetter Nichols. He attended Montgomery County Schools. He was a lifelong farmer.
He married Waneta Peterson on August 2, 1937, she survives. He is also survived by his five children: Larry (Judy) Nichols of Crawfordsville, Rusty (Pat) Nichols of Hanover, Mary (Sonny) Reed of New Ross, Karen Harshbarger of Crawfordsville, & Craig "Butch" (Diana) Nichols of Crawfordsville. He is also survived by his sister Wanda Rebenach of Indianapolis, 13 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and one Great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A graveside service will be held 1:30pm Tuesday March 27, at Pisgah Cemetery with Rev. Randy Whitehead officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
