Servies, 73, Crawfordsville,
died Monday
at Methodist Hospital,
Indianapolis.
Mr. Servies worked
for CEL&P for 15 years
and owned U-Rent It
Center for 45 years
with brothers Max and Paul T.
He was a member of Crawfordsville
Elks No. 483, Masonic Lodge No. 64,
New Richmond Lodge F& AM, Ancient
Accepted Scottish Rite of Indianapolis,
Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, American
Rental Association, and Sons of the
American Legion Post No. 72, Crawfordsville.
He graduated from New Market
High School.
He was born March 20, 1935 at Crawfordsville,
to Foster Servies and Catherine
Blessing Servies. He married Margaret
Scott July 2, 1955 at Crawfordsville.
She survives.
Also surviving are daughter Libbie
(Kenny) Booth, Crawfordsville; sons Jeffrey
S., C. Robert (Carolyn) and Scott
A., all of Crawfordsville; brothers Lester
Max Servies and Paul T. (Phyllis) Servies,
both of Crawfordsville; and sister Sue
(Jim) Becker, Florida; six grandchildren;
and four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brothers
Don and Edward and sister Mary
Servies.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2
p.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral
Home with Rev. Jim Fay officiating. Burial
will be at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday at
the funeral home.
