Obituary

Christina Marie (Wilson) Cox, age 82, of Crawfordsville, Indiana slipped peacefully into the arms of
Jesus in her home surrounded by her family to join her loving husband, Herbert Cox in heaven on
March 5, 2020.
She was born March 28, 1937, in Crawfordsville to the late Homer and Leona Wilson.
She is survived by her four daughters, Vicki (Joe) Melek, Peggy (Alan) Bane, Linda (Scott) Walsh,
and Cindy (Jim) Hoskins, brother, Cecil (Bernice) Wilson, grandchildren, Joshua, Brian, and Christina
Rivers, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Sexton, Sami (Jason) Paff, Colbi Bane, Jacob Walsh, Amanda (Roger) Walsh- Patierno, Angie Cowan, Ashley (Kevin) Barker, Nick (Kaci) Hoskins and Savannah (Joe) Olschewske.
Kristen Melek, Mindy (Jeff) Lancaster. 29 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her
trusted companion of eight years, Puddles.
She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 58 years in 2013, Herbert W Cox, infant daughter, LuAnn, brother Bobby Joe Wilson, sister Doris Davis, and parents Homer and Leona Wilson.
Christina was a member of the Fremont Street Baptist Church and spent her whole life in
Crawfordsville. She worked various jobs, including The Standard Grocery Store, Raybestos,
and Thrifty Supply. She devoted her life to her family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas,
decorating every room in her home, cooking delicious homemade food, and showering her
family with love.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020, with the service beginning at 1 p.m. at Hunt and Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville.
