Claude Bard, 70, of Lafayette,
and formerly of Crawfordsville,
died Thursday,
May 2, 2013, at Regency
Place, Lafayette.
Mr. Bard was a retired machinist.
He had worked for
Eli Lilly as a chemical operator & Impex as a machinist.
His memberships included
Second Baptist Church, Crawfordsville;
and Masonic Lodge. He was educated at
Drakesboro (Ky.) High School.
He was born Jan. 1, 1943, at Depoy, Ky.,
to William E. and Jessie Hawkins Bard. He married Elsie Bard, she preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Brenda
Barbee, Lafayette, Jacci Lee Turner, Indianapolis,
Patricia Fields, Lafayette, Clinton
Fields, Phoenix, Ariz. and Fawn Bard, Indianapolis;
sisters, Imogene Phipps and Rita
Tidwell; brothers, Larry and Phil Bard; 11
grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday
at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant
Ave., Crawfordsville. A private family graveside
service will be held at a later date.
