Claudine McClure, 94, Crawfordsville,
passed away Sunday at
her residence.
She was born Dec. 17, 1918,
at her home in Crawfordsville to
Claude L. and Neva P. (Northcutt)
Esra.
She was a 1937 graduate of
Crawfordsville High School. She
had been a receptionist for Dr.
Burks and Dr. Baird. She first married
Jack P. Voorhees on Aug.
7, 1964, and he preceded her in
death. She then married Theron
McClure in 1998 and he passed in
2010.
Survivors include: sons, Robert
B. (Donna) Williams of Tipton and
William L. (Judy) Williams of Crawfordsville;
stepdaughters, Janet
(Merlyn) Bartlett of Columbus and
Betty Ann (Dale) Harvey of Montgomery,
Texas. In addition eight
grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren
survive.
Funeral services are scheduled
for noon Tuesday at Hunt and Son
Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike
Whitacre officiating. Burial will follow
at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
Friends may call 10 a.m. until noon
Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may
be made to the American Cancer
Society.
