Obituary
Connie K. Newkirk, 63, of Darlington, died Thursday at University Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was retired from Raybestos and was a member of the Wabash Club.
She was educated in the Lafayette schools.
She was born Dec. 28, 1949, at Lafayette, to Walter L. and Mary E. (Thomas) Coddington. She married Mike Newkirk. He survives.
Additional survivors include: son Donnie Fassnacht at Lafayette; daughters, Tammy (Kirk) Ogden of Iowa, Dona (Michael) Mazer at Texas, Tina (Mike) Wolf of West Point, Sara Newkirk (fiance Jesse Simon) of California and Leah Newkirk of California; sisters, Roseanne Patterson of Stockwell and Sue Sargent of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Sister Carol Albert is deceased.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Following the visitation she will be cremated.
