Crista Starnes Simmons, 28, of Indianapolis, formerly of Crawfordsville died Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Indianapolis
She was a 1999 Southmont High School graduate.
She was born June 17, 1981 at Crawfordsville, the daughter of Tim Starnes and Pam Olson. Both survive.
Other survivors are: her dad and stepmother, Tim and Cheryl Starnes of Crawfordsville; mother, Pam Jones at Indianapolis; stepfather, Richard Ernest Jones, of Florida; a son, Gavin Simmons, of Mellott, a daughter, Kadiah Simmons, of Mellott; a half brother, Zack Jones, of Indianapolis; a stepbrother, Michael Myers, of St. Louis; a half sister, Macy Jones, of Florida; a stepsister, Carrie Jaynes, of Georgia; and her partner, Carrie King of Indianapolis; and grandmother, Lorene Bishop, of Crawfordsville.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Dowell officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation hours will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. the funeral home.
Donations may be made to a trust fund estabilished for her children at TCU in lieu of flowers.
