Obituary
Daniel A. Scott of Russellville, Ind., died at 6:02 a.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010, at his home. He was 61.
Born on June 3, 1949, in Virginia to parents Lester and Thelma Delucruz Scott, Mr. Scott had retired from Nucor Steel and served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and the North American Hunting and Fishing Club.
He leaves behind two sons, Jared and Cody Scott, both of Russellville; brothers Eddie, Larry, Mike, Ricky and Lacey Scott, all of Virginia. He also leaves behind sister Bonnie Strickland, also of Virginia.
A funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor David Keesee officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
