Danny Murphy, 69, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 11 p.m. Thursday at home.

Mr. Murphy was born Feb. 28, 1939 of West Lebanon to Theodore R & Gladys Ruth Henry Murphy.

He was a 1957 graduate of West Lebanon High School. He was married to Billi Murphy. She survives. He retired from RR Donnelly 1996 and owned Murphy Roofing & Construction.

He survived by sons, Mark (Elaina) Murphy, Robert Murphy, Eric (Stacy) Murphy; daughters, Shelly (Terry) McDaniel, Crystal (Todd) Street, Cheryl Vaught and Nichole (Jay) Hurt; sisters, Martha (Ralph) Byers and Peggy (Fred) Hobson; step-children, James Stegmoyer, Tammy (Randy) Fulwider and Heather (David) Hoeger; and 22 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Betty Hanover.

Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery North with the Rev. Roger McDaniel officiating. A celebration of life will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Crawfordsville Eagles.

Friends and family can pay their respects from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
