Obituary
Darrold Wayne McCormick, 76, of Crawfordsville passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Sept. 12, 2015, at Bickford Cottage, Crawfordsville.
He was born July 23, 1939, at Robinson, Ill., to Jake and Mary Jane (Dunlap) McCormick. He retired after 32 years from Inland Steel and retired again from RR Donnelley's after seven years. Darrold was married for 54 years to Donna Marie Bahr. She preceded him in death in July 2014.
Survivors include: his children, Darin (Adriana) McCormick of Connecticut and Darcy (Thomas) Weiler of Crawfordsville; grandchildren, Alexandria Janette and Samantha Miranda McCormick of Connecticut and Alexis Thomalynne Weiler of Crawfordsville; brother Howard (Marie) McCormick of Portage; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Whitesville Christian Church.
