David O. Gallear III of Crawfordsville died
Thursday at the Ben Hur Home. He was
67.
Mr. Gallear had worked as a pressman at
RR Donnelley for 30 years, retiring in 2007.
He was a member of First Christian Church
and Montgomery County
Historical Society. He graduated
from Crawfordsville
High School in 1962 and
Western New Mexico University
in 1968.
He was born March 17,
1944, at Crawfordsville, to
David O. and Martha
(Grisell) Gallear II. He married Kae Stump on
July 30, 1976. She survives.
Other survivors include: son Mike (Kelly )
Stump of Crawfordsville; daughters, Teresa
(Daniel) Houston of Crawfordsville and Lisa
(Henry) Glover of Onalaska, Wisc.; sister
Jacqueline (David) McQuillian of Gilbert, Ariz.;
and seven grandchildren.
His parents and sister Juliabelle Edwards
are deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m.
Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N.
Grant Ave., with the Rev. Morris Finch Jr. officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery
South. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home.

Cancer Society.
