David Carl Lovold, of Crawfordsville passed away Monday Feb. 12, 2018 of natural causes.  He was born October 10, 1953 at Minneapolis, MN to Don and Arlene Lovold, who both preceded him in death.  David was married to Brenda (Bowman) Lovold on Feb. 10, 1973 in Crawfordsville.  He attended Crawfordsville High School (class of 1971), where he was very active in sports- football (captain), wrestling, and baseball.   He worked most of his life in the family business- Thrifty Wholesale Supply.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Angela (Marcus) Hale of Crawfordsville, sons Nick (Staci) Lovold of Indianapolis, Josh (Courtney) Lovold of Tampa FL and six grandchildren- Emmy and Lauren Hale, Ellen, Jack, Abby and Genevieve Lovold.  He is also survived by brothers Don and Doug Lovold and sister Debbie Lovold.

Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral home with visitation from 12-2. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery South.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crawfordsville High School Alumni Association.
