Delores Darlene Blacker of Crawfordsville died Saturday in
Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was 73.
Ms. Blacker worked as an internal auditor for the Federal
Reserve Bank of Chicago and Field Enterprises Educational
Corp. Her memberships included First United Methodist Church
and Delta Zeta Sorority.
She was a 1955 Crawfordsville High School graduate and
earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and
business education at Indiana University.
She was born Jan. 21, 1938, at Crawfordsville, to Clyde
and Evelyn Housman Blacker.
Survivors include cousins, Darrell Cates of Bakersfield,
Calif., Jana Backofen of Batesville, Richard McCain of Palm
Springs, Calif., and Robert McCain of Ana, Ill.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt
& Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with the Rev. John
Stacy officiating. Burial will be at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
Friends may call an hour prior to services Thursday at the
funeral home.
