Delores Dean Miller, 89 of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday October 6 at Ben Hur Health and Rehabilitation.

Delores was born December 13, 1928 to William and Dovie Walden Carver. She attended Crawfordsville schools.  She married Theron Max Miller on January 13, 1945, he preceded her in death July 20, 1983.

She was retired from the Holiday Inn as a baker. She could always be found on Wednesday or Thursday playing bingo or euchre. She loved to crochet afghans, blankets and doilies for friends and family. She loved to bake for her family and was well known for her apple dumplings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Donald Max Carver, Billie Carver, Delma Cox, Wayne Carver, Floyd Carver and Gloria carver; a daughter Kimberly Lynn and granddaughter Brenna.

She is survived by her daughters Joyce (Paul) Mercer, Jill (Mike) Shubert, Susie (Steve) Harbison, Nancy (Cody) Gibson and Son Max (Lillian) Miller. She has 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren with one on the way.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Vernon Dowell officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave.  Visitation will be from 12-2pm Wednesday.
