Dennis R. Forrest, 79 of Crawfordsville passed away Monday September 18 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Dennis was born in Southern Kentucky on April 2, 1938 to Edgar & Laura Martin Forrest.

He served in the US Army in the 1960s serving in Europe.  He was a retired factory worker having worked for many years at Ingress Plastene, and retiring from Fleetwood.

He married Cora Conkright on June 29, 1963, she survives.

Also surviving are his Daughter Pam Cating of Crawfordsville, Son Dennis (Peggy Simpkins) Forrest Jr of Crawfordsville and Siblings Rosemary Snivley, Danny Forrest, Eddie Dale Forrest, Kelvin Forrest and Terry Forrest as well as his grandson Ethan Cating. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles and Sister Barbara.
