Dennis Wayne French, 60, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 7:02 p.m. Thursday at St. Clare Medical Center.
Mr. French was born May 28, 1950. He is the son of Ralph & Alleen Morrison French.
He graduated from Crawfordsville High School. He was married to Angela Riddle. She survives. He worked as a plumber. He served in the U.S. Army, serving two tours in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Richard (Chastity) French of Crawfordsville and Eric French of Crawfordsville; daughters, Sarah Stonebraker of Crawfordsville and Ashley Stonebraker of Crawfordsville; step-son, Curtis Stonebraker of Crawfordsville; brothers, Henry (Darlene) French of Greencastle; Raymond (Carole) French of Waveland and Donald (Delores) French of Crawfordsville; sisters, Beverly (Bill) Sanders of Kingman and Peggy (Kenneth) Ferrand of Sebring, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia; and brother, Richard.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the New Ross Cemetery with Military rites by American Legion/VFW. Friends and family can pay their respects from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
