On Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14, 2025, Diana Jane (Adams)
McCollough, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the
age of 82.
Diana was born on March 11, 1942 in Crawfordsville, IN to Louise (Bodine)
and Freeman Adams. On June 5, 1965 she married Lawrence Milton
McCollough. Diana gave birth to her first child, Amy Jane, in 1966 and her
second, Lawrence Adam, in 1970 adding to Larry's two daughters, Sherri
Lynn (McCollough) Borkowski and Gina Ann (McCollough) McDonald.
Diana and Larry raised their family at 409 East Jefferson Street and then
retired to 1463 Deercliff Drive in 2006 where Diana and Larry enjoyed life
together until Larry's passing on Valentine's Day in 2016.
Diana and Larry loved well. They both passed on Valentine's Day which is
a testament to their deep love for each other. They cherished each other's
company and being together around family and friends.
Many decades were spent gathering with family in Crawfordsville and
Georgia. Diana treasured time with her and Larry's children, playing cards,
sharing meals, and travelling to Minnesota to camp and fish with their kids.
Diana also enjoyed quilting, painting, reading, gardening, and loved flowers
.. especially pink peonies. She was lovingly known by everyone who knew
her as a kind-hearted and gentle wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Diana is survived by her daughter Amy Jane (McCollough) Malott, her son
Lawrence Adam McCollough, step-daughters Sherri Lynn (McCollough)
Borkowski and Gina Ann (McCollough) McDonald, and sixteen grand and
great grandchildren.
Diana's funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Hunt
& Son Funeral Home (107 N. Grant Ave., Crawfordsville) at 12 o'clock p.m.
with visitation starting at 11am.
