Don E. Harshbarger, 82 of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.  He was born September 7, 1935 in Crawfordsville to Samuel M. & Bernice Linn Harshbarger. He graduated from Darlington High School.

Don retired from Raybestos in 2001 after 40 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, NASCAR, Cubs, and Purdue Sports. He was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church and attended Rock Point Church until he became ill.

In 1954 he married Kay Crull and had five children; Robyn (Tom) Henderson of Crawfordsville; Dan (Jennifer) Harshbarger of Darlington; Andra Hudson of Crawfordsville; Randy (Tammy) Harshbarger of Crawfordsville and Jill (Companion Brian Mullen) Pickering of Darlington. In 1972 he married Judy Ingalsbe and became loving father to  Jennifer (Chris) Sharts and Stephanie (Lance) Hall. He has 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held 5:00PM Saturday January 13 at Darlington Congregational Christian Church, 101 Academy ST., Darlington. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00.
