Donald G. Brady, 82, of
Crawfordsville passed away at
3 a.m. Tuesday at his home.
Mr. Brady was born Nov. 13,
1926 in Crawfordsville, the son
of Clyde Sr., and Jessie Apple
Brady. He married Mary E.
French June 22, 1981. She survives.
He was retired from Alcoa
in Lafayette where he had
worked for 38 years.
He served in the U.S. Army
during World War II. He was a
life member of
the VFW, past
Commandor of
the American
Legion Byron
Cox Post 72 and past Commandor
of New Richmond
American Legion Post. He was
also a member of the American
Bowling Congress and the
Young at Heart Bowling
League.
Survivors include, his wife,
Mary; three sons, David Brady
of Linden, Danny Brady of
Lafayette and Dale Brady of
Monticello; a daughter, Donna
Schidler of Lafayette; a brother,
Clyde "Bud" (Loraine) Brady
Jr., of Crawfordsville; step-children,
Richard French of Indianapolis,
Steven French of
Crawfordsville, Larry French of
Rockledge, Fla., James French
of Alamo and Teresa Laube of
Linden; a step-sister, Sadie
(Basil) Dulin; a step-brother,
Connie Turner; 22 grandchildren
and 18 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a
brother, Carl Brady, and one
grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday with Military Rites at
Hunt and Son Funeral Home.
Rev. Dorman Winger will be
officiating. Cremation to follow,
graveside will be held at a later
date. Visitation will be Wednesday
from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the
funeral home.
