Obituary
Donald Ray Frederick of Crawfordsville died Saturday in Brookdale Place at Willow Lake at Indianapolis. He was 81.
Mr. Frederick had been a department manager for Kroger. He also had worked at Montgomery County Health Department.
His memberships included First Baptist Church, Alamo Masonic Lodge, Lions Club and was a Crawfordsville City Councilman.
He was born Jan 2, 1930, at Bicknell, to Clifford L. and Nola (Williams) Frederick. He married Marilyn "Jean" Deal. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Johnny Randall Frederick of Braselton, Ga., and Donald Ray Frederick Jr. of Crawfordsville; daughter Susan Jean Eley of Burbank, Calif.; brother Dr. Terry J. Frederick of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Isaac Zull officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
