Donald Franklin Harvey, Jr., 52, of Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday.

He was born Jan. 20, 1959 in Crawfordsville. He was the son of Donald Harvey Sr. & Peggy Arlene Taylor.

He attended Crawfordsville High School. He married Rosalee Surber. She survives.

He worked at Norcote and was a truck driver. He loved deer hunting. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Donald Harvey III of Pendleton and Justin Harvey of Greencastle; daughter, Chastity (Richard) French; brothers, Tim Harvey and David (Patti) Harvey, both of Crawfordsville; sisters, Debbie (Stuart) Lee and Dina Barrett; six grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Casey Taylor; brother-in-law, Gary Surber; and mother-in-law, Laura Belle Surber.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. His brother, David Harvey, will officiate the services. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery South.

Friends and family can pay their respects from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
