Donald Eugene Hufford, 85, of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday at home.

He was born October 11, 1931 in Carroll County to Otis G. & Grace M. Crouse.  He graduated from Rossville High School.  Don then served in the US Army in Korea 1951-52. He was a farmer until 1993. He also drove a school bus for Tippecanoe County Schools from 1965-1977, he then worked as a groundskeeper for Crawfordsville Schools for 20 years.  He was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church, Past commander of the Colfax American Legion, member of Byron Cox American Legion and VFW.  He loved fishing with his wife and was an avid hunter.

On April 18, 1951 he married Maribelle Crow, she preceded him in death April 21, 2015.  He is survived by his children Michael Hufford of Indianapolis and Linda (Dale) Hoekema of Zionsville as well as one grandson Nathan Hoekema and 2 step grandchildren David Williams and Holly Misner.  He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, May 6 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastors Tony Thomas & Steve Wilke officiating.  Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North with military rites.  Visitation will be from 12-2 Saturday.
