Donald Max Miller, 85, of Crawfordsville died at 3:45 a.m. Friday at home.
He was a sign and graphic designer at the Sign Shop and an ordained minister. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954 in Korea.
He was a member of Grace & Mercy Church and an Evangelistic minister, having pastored for 13 years. He attended Crawfordsville and New Market schools.
He was born Feb. 16, 1929, at Crawfordsville, to Homer and Dorphy McCollum Miller. He married Dorothy Osment. She survives. Other survivors include sons, Donald Jr., Kim Allen Miller and Thaddeus Miller of Crawfordsville; daughters, Valerie Schelte of Hebron, Jacqueline Schube and Jamie Miller of Crawfordsville; step-son Brandon Klunder of Lafayette; step-daughter Kim Gordon of Wanatah; sister Nancy Potter of Chicago; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughters, Susan Miller and Peggy Zaberdach; and sisters, Barbara Lovejoy, Sharon Tessling and Carolyn Miller.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at Gracy & Mercy Ministries, with Pastor Nathan Miller officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery South with military rites at graveside. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
