Donald L. Stout, 68, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 11:38 a.m. Thursday at St. Clare Medical Center.

Mr. Stout was born Nov. 30, 1941 in Urbana, Ohio. He is the son of Harold R. and Lucille White Stout.

He graduated from Urbana High School in Ohio. He married Beverly Jean (Evans) Stout March 12, 1961 at Jenkins Chapel in Cable, Ohio. She survives. He worked as a Machinist at RR Donnelley & Sons for 41 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church where he served as Chairmen of the Trustees and Lay Leader. He was a member of the Burning Hearts Emmaus Community of West Central Indiana.

He is survived by sons, Brian Stout of Marseilles, France, and Tim (Denise) Stout of Devils Lake, N.D.; brothers, Jim (Mavis) Stout of Branson, Mo., and Roger (Becky) Stout of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Phyllis (Dick) Quinn of Willard, Ohio, and Carol (Steve) Gardner of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter-in-law, Sophie Stout.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tim Lyons will officiate the services. Burial is at Spring Grove Cemetery in St. Paris, Ohio at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Friends and family can pay their respects from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
