Obituary
Donald E. Taylor, 61 of Crawfordsville passed away Monday morning at Hickory Creek Nursing home.
He was born June 14, 1953 in Crawfordsville to Clarence "Sonny" & Barb Abney Taylor. He was a 1971 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
Donald worked at Raybestos for 40 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Moose Lodge. He also loved going to the casino, NASCAR, and was a fan of the Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals and IU.
On June 21, 2000 he married Brenda Hodges, she survives.
Also surviving are his daughters Michelle (Dean) Justice and Stacy Taylor; Stepsons Tom (Stacie) Farley and Mike (Angie) Farley; Brothers Dale (Julie) Taylor and Mike Taylor all of Crawfordsville. He also has 5 grandchildren, 11 Step grandchildren, and 1 step grandchild as well as nephews Cory (Tessa) Taylor, Matthew Taylor and 2 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and 2 uncles.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev Jim Thurston officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation will be from 4-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Marie Canine Cancer Center.
