Donald Eugene Van Cleave, Jr.

Donald Eugene Van Cleave Jr., 62, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday July 18, 2026 at his residence. He was born on October 8, 1963 in Crawfordsville to Donald Eugene Van Cleave Sr. and Lois Smith.

He was a graduate of Southmont, 1982. He married Robin Taute on January 18, 1986 and she survives. He retired from Pace Dairy as a maintenance technician. He was a member of the American Legion Post #72 and served in the United States Navy.

He enjoyed spending time with family, working on cars, canoeing, hiking and mushroom hunting.

Surviving along with his wife are children, Michael and his two boys, Nicholas, Christopher ( Bree) and their four children, sister, Judy, and nephew CJ (TT) and their three boys as well as two aunts, two uncles and several cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday July 23 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North with military rites by the American Legion Post #72 and the United States Navy.
