Doris Donnelly Larsen, age 91, passed away January 28, 2013, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on September 5, 1921, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to the late Walter and Tillie Langtim. On July 6, 1945, she married Tom Donnelly Jr. who preceded her in death in 1983. They started and partnered in operating United Service Auto Parts for many years. She married the late Harold K. Larsen on May 6, 1989.
Doris is survived by her daughter Shirley Donnelly Triller (husband John) of Fishers, Indiana; son Tom Donnelly of Evansville, Indiana; granddaughter Sarah Triller Dykstra (husband Donald) of Fishers, Indiana; sister Helen Vogel of Kingsport, Tennessee; and sister-in-law Shirley Langtim of Atlanta, Georgia as well as nieces and nephews.
Doris was a long-time resident of Crawfordsville where she actively volunteered at her church and in the community. She was a Past National President of Psi Iota Xi, 75 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, and a leader and 50 year member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church.
The family wishes to thank the many compassionate care providers at Marquette Manor Assisted Living where she resided for nearly 10 years, Dr. Patrick Healey and St. Vincent Hospice for the extraordinary care she received.
A calling will be held on Thursday, January 31, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a service at 3:30pm at the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church, 307 South Washington Street, Crawfordsville, Indiana. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
