Doris Jean Phelps, 66 of Jamestown passed away Wednesday at Franciscan  Health East, Lafayette.

She was born July 18, 1956, in Crawfordsville to John C & Marie Surber Phelps.  She was a 1974 graduate of Southmont High School and attended Kentucky Christian College as well as Johnson Bible College. Doris attended of New Maysville Church.

Doris is survived by her Brothers Joe (Barbara) Phelps & Don (Cathy) Phelps,  9 Nieces and 6 nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Edith Tribble & Special niece Kathy Jean Acree.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with her nephew Joseph Phelps officiating.  Visitation will be from 11-1 Monday. Interment will follow in the Jamestown Cemetery.
